My Name is Kim and I can help
My name is Kim Austin. I am a licensed clinical social worker and see clients in person in Atlanta, GA. I also see clients virtually throughout Georgia, New York, Maine, and Florida. I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. I was trained in EMDR in 2004 and have been practicing this powerful therapy since then. In 2019 I trained in Brainspotting and was deeply impressed with the results I saw my clients and in my own personal healing. Since then I have become certified in Brainspotting and am an approved Brainspotting Consultant. I am grateful to these approaches and the opportunity to offer their healing benefits to my clients.

An initial 90 minute session to define goals, background, resources and supports. Identify panful experiences. memories, beliefs, emotions, or images for reprocessing.

Customized outline of issues for processing based on you and your goals for healing. Includes supportive tools and resources.

Intensive formats are tailored to your personality, goals, and life. Options include:
3 hour Intensives scheduled bi-monthly, monthly or quarterly
Focused Intensives: Meet 3-5 hours per day over 1-4 days

60-90 minute follow up session (s) to reflect on and integrate insights, shifts, and areas of transformation. Discuss ways to leverage healing and carry gains forward as well explore potential future goals.
